Putting a face to the art

janecoquillon-memyselfknow I’m not alone in hating having my photo taken.

I never look the way I feel inside – I feel 15, but my face is 40!
(plus a little)

However, being invited for an interview next week by the lovely Melanie Statnick  gave me the kick in the rear I needed.

So I asked Wren to see if she could get a decent shot of me.

And then they turned out so well that I thought I’d share them with you here.

Especially since this is her first time using our whiz-bang camera.

Mayhap she has a future in the photographic arts?

Happy PPF!

  1. Hello Jane! It’s nice to meet you. I have to smile as I see you creating your art. Your workspace is a lot like mine – crowded with all sorts of goodies, with about a six inch area to work! Isn’t art wonderful? Have a great weekend. Hugs, Terri

  2. I just adore your art. For some reason it’s difficult to post comment here at times!! You look adorable and love the beautiful photo of you painting! Good job! Thanks for sharing!

  3. You’re right, that your photos do not do you justice… I am lucky enough to get to see the fantastic original every day! And cudos to Wren who somehow brings out the better side of you phitographically than I can do… atm!

  4. You are such a beautiful woman, Jane! And you look kind and cute at the same time! 🙂 Happy PPF and good luck for the future with your art and life!

  5. I am finding it hard to comment here, but I think that is because it is a different configuration. You shouldn’t mind having your picture taken, you are as lovely and whimsical as your artwork. I liked seeing your workspace, and your artwork is just beautiful.
